Job/Person Summary
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join us in September 2026 who can work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups for targeted support. Ideally candidates will have experience of working in school or similar settings working with children. This post also involves a lunch time cover for a class.
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally, have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs in an education setting
- Be able to form strong positive relationships with adults and children
- Be patient, calm, resilient and enthusiastic
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have good/strong behaviour management skills including use of PACE
- Have a good understanding of neurodivergent learners
