Learning Support Assistant in Early Years

Job Introduction

Winnall Primary School is a warm and friendly school with a strong child centred ethos. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated learning support assistant to join our friendly early years team, who will work with us to achieve the highest standards possible for the children in our care. Our children are ably supported by a committed team of professionals who believe in our shared values of Teamwork, Respect, Aspiration and Curiosity


We would like to appoint someone who:

  • Has preferably worked with children with a range of additional needs
  • Can adapt tasks for children who are likely to find it a challenge to engage in activities alongside their peers
  • Be able to work independently under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
  • Listens to, and acts upon, the advice provided by outside agencies
  • Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development.
