An exciting opportunity to join our learning Support team!

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our outstanding primary school on a temporary contract. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence, inclusion, and putting children at the heart of everything we do. In this role you will provide support to children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in our KS2 team. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children.

What we’re looking for:

· A passion for helping children thrive and reach their potential

· Strong understanding of how to support children in regulating their emotions

· Ability to think quickly and adapt to different situations

· A love for the outdoors and using nature to engage and support learning

The role:

· Provide tailored 1:1 support to help the child access learning and feel secure

· Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans

· Use creative and flexible approaches to help the child regulate their emotions and engage in learning

· Foster a positive and encouraging environment
