Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic key Stage One team, delivering classroom support and interventions based on the needs of the children in class.
The successful applicant will:
- Raise learning and attainment of all children in the class as well as promoting independence and resilience
- Champion a positive learning attitude
- Promote positive relationships, the school ethos and follow our Golden Rules
- Deliver Little Wandle Letters & Sounds catch-up phonic sessions to small groups
- Provide mathematics and English support to challenge the children to make progress
- Work alongside the SENDCo and class teacher to support individuals with their learning in the classroom setting

Hours: 8.30 a.m.-3.15 p.m., Monday to Friday (term-time only)
These hours include daily lunchtime supervision and a 30-minute lunch break (lunch break unpaid).
Salary: EHCC Grade C Salary pro rata (f.t.e. £24405- £25430) dependent on qualifications and experience.
