Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants, keen to work with young people right across our school, and keen to support our students with their learning, wellbeing and the development of good, strong self-esteem.
We are looking for individuals to join our fantastic, resilient team who are dedicated, reliable, committed and enthusiastic about every young person they meet, and who is keen to develop through forming strong relationships with students and colleagues alike.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good, focused, steady classroom practice whilst being actively committed to building upon the young people’s strengths, taking the best advice on working with them, with their potential for success always at the forefront of their minds. We seek individuals keen to develop relationships with our children whilst motivating them to reach their full potential. We would also love to meet people who would be happy to support our students with physical disabilities with their independence, their day to day support and personal care.
You will be warmly welcomed into the Noadswood family as a whole and given access to our induction programme and training opportunities as an individual and as part of the team. Maybe you’d like to develop your passion for a particular subject, or you’d like to upskill yourself in a subject you, yourself, struggled with at school? Maybe you’re keen to know more about supporting students’ emotional needs, or neurodivergence of various sorts? Perhaps it’s a commitment to the independence and success of those with physical disabilities that you’d enjoy knowing more about? We can provide experience and professional training on all fronts across our inclusive environment, that is always keen to learn more and improve further.
You will be joining a school with a proud commitment to inclusivity and diversity and to supporting students with additional needs of all kinds; you will have the opportunity to develop your career with young people in a host of directions over time and according to your specialisms.
Applications to be sent by email to recruitment@noadswood.hants.sch.uk. Please note CVs are not accepted.
