Learning Support Assistant with Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The role will be varied, and you will need to be adaptable and flexible - there will be opportunities to work within the whole class, and on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils.
Portway Junior School is a popular and oversubscribed junior school on the edge of Andover. Our most recent OfSTED report describes us as a good school that is friendly, welcoming and mutually supportive. The report also highlighted the outstanding level of care, guidance and support our pupils receive and our excellent partnership with parents and carers.
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (TA), who will also be a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant.

Learning Support Assistant - Salary scale B – term time only (39 weeks per year).
This is a permanent position.
Hours are as follows (term time only):
Five Days 8.30am - 3:30 pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)
Total Hours = 32.5 (Monday - Friday)
Actual salary £18,681 (full time equivalent of £24,796) Depending on experience
