Job Introduction
Hook Infant School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Lunchtime Playworker to support our pupils during the lunchtime period.
The successful candidate will work as part of our friendly team to ensure that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all children.
The role includes:
- Supervising pupils in the playground
- Encouraging positive behaviour and safe, inclusive play
- Supporting pupils’ wellbeing and social development
- Leading games and developing positive relationships
- Ensuring school policies and procedures are followed at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with young children
- Is calm, patient and nurturing, with clear boundaries
- Can engage pupils in positive play and activities
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
