Job Introduction
Hours: 6.25 per week 11:45 – 13:00 Mon-Fri term time only (£3499)
We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work with our existing team to support pupils in the enjoyment of their lunchtime.
The successful candidate will:
- have an understanding and awareness of child behaviour
- have high expectations of children's behaviour
- be proactive and promote 'positive play'
- actively engage with children to ensure playtimes are enjoyable
- be able to work well with others, under guidance, and show own initiative
- be a good communicator, great team player and have a good sense of humour
- have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
Duties will include:
- assisting pupils with food consumption - i.e. opening cartons, cutting food for the children
- cleaning spillages and surfaces
- supervising disposal of foodstuffs
- Supervision of pupils to ensure their safety

If you are interested in delivering any team sports coaching during lunchtimes or are experienced with guided reading, these skills could be implemented as part of your role at Alver Valley
