Lunchtime Supervisor Vacancy
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our incredible team at Colden Common Primary School. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our children with their play during the lunch break, setting up engaging play equipment and ensuring their welfare throughout this important part of the day. This role is for 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 1.30pm, term time only, on a temporary contract until 31st August 2026. There is the possibility that the contract will be extended beyond the first year, depending on the needs of the school. Salary: £12.17 per hour.
Job Description/Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with their play and activities during the lunch break
- Setting up and managing play equipment to encourage active and imaginative play
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children during the lunch period
- Providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for our children to enjoy their lunch
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for supporting children's development and well-being
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Qualities:
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Creativity and enthusiasm to engage children in play and activities
