We are expanding our team – this is a NEW post!
We are looking for a very special person to come and work with us to drive our minibus safely and get children to school and home each day. We would consider 2 different people; 1 for the mornings, 1 for the afternoons. This role is term time only.
You would ideally have the ‘grandparent rights’ ie. Have passed your test prior to January 1997 but full training can be provided if not.
Our minibus has a busy local route around Stockbridge, Houghton, Longstock and Leckford and we will provide full induction to ensure you know the routes and families well. The route takes just less than an hour each day so there is time built into this role for general upkeep, refuelling etc. The role has a certain degree of autonomy to allow you to organise your time efficiently.
We have well established routines for bus travel and children need to trust our driver(s) to know that they will keep them safe. Safeguarding is a critical part of this role and, as you would expect, the successful applicant will be subject to DBS and other safeguarding checks.
