Part Time – 2 Days per Week from September 2026

South Wonston Primary School is a welcoming and ambitious village school at the heart of its community. Our children are enthusiastic, curious and proud of their school, and our staff team work closely together to create a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and succeed.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team from September 2026, teaching a job share within one of our mixed Lower Key Stage 2 classes for two days per week.

This role would particularly suit a skilled classroom practitioner who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, building strong relationships with children and supporting pupils to become confident, independent learners.

About the role

The successful candidate will:

  • teach within a mixed Lower Key Stage 2 class
  • plan and deliver high-quality and engaging lessons
  • create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe to take risks in their learning
  • support children to develop independence, resilience and confidence
  • work closely with the Lower Key Stage 2 team and Job share 
  • contribute positively to the wider life of the school
