Hours of Work: (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Job/Person Summary

We are looking for a motivated and vibrant teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team within the Federation of Burley and Sopley Primary Schools.. This part-time position is based at Sopley Primary and involves 2.5 days class based responsibility for a mixed year 2 and year 3 class. The job will also involve covering PPA for half a day in another class ( Key Stage 1). 

There is a lovely, welcoming and cohesive team working at Sopley Primary School, who benefit from collaborating with our colleagues at Burley Primary School. As a school we teach mixed age groups and have a total of three classes across the whole school. A willingness to work at Burley in future years, should the need arise is also essential for this role. 

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Is willing and able to travel across our Federation for meetings and shared PPA time
