School Admin Officer

Job Introduction

Are you an unflappable, friendly professional with a love for organisation, community and the natural world? We are seeking a highly professional, forward-thinking School Admin Officer to join our busy school environment and play a vital role in supporting our staff, children and families.

About the Role: As the heart of our school office, you'll lead by example—organised, focused and reflective in your practice. You will be a key part of a supportive team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school. No two days are the same and we're looking for someone who is prepared to ‘muck in’ and contribute to all aspects of school life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and modernise administrative systems to ensure a streamlined, efficient office environment.
  • Support and uphold the school’s vision, including a strong appreciation for nature and the outdoors.
  • Lead and support office staff with a calm, clear and people-focused approach.
  • Provide a welcoming, helpful presence for parents, children and staff.
  • Be a reflective practitioner who actively seeks improvements and embraces change.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to implement strategic goals and school priorities.
  • Understand and champion the importance of serving the school community with professionalism and warmth.

About You:

  • You're highly organised and naturally focused under pressure.
  • You’re a friendly people manager with a talent for building positive relationships.
  • You have a genuine love for children and a passion for education.
  • You’re supportive and proactive, always ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
  • You embrace innovation and are enthusiastic about modernising systems and processes.
  • You have a deep respect for the natural world and understand how it can support children’s learning and wellbeing.

Why Join Us?

We are a forward-thinking school with a strong sense of community, a commitment to continuous improvement and a deep appreciation for the world around us. If you’re looking to make a difference in a vibrant school environment and enjoy being part of a team that truly cares, we would love to hear from you.
