Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a Senior Administrative Officer to lead our Office team in our friendly, busy and happy school. We would like a cheerful, efficient, well organised team player, who is able to multitask, complete tasks efficiently and to deadlines, manage the budget and provide the best level of service for our school community.
Do you have:
- Experience of working in a school and as part of a team
- Experience of school based systems such as Arbor and IBC
- A good knowledge of Finance and Personnel
- The ability to manage the budget and provide reports for Governing Body Meetings
- Experience of managing lettings
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly, positively and professionally in a busy environment
- Able to use initiative and demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach to prioritising tasks, solving problems and multitasking
- Able to work to deadlines and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable
- To be efficient, organised and accurate, with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- A sense of humour and the ability to cope under pressure
- Understand the importance of maintaining an effective safeguarding culture
- Understand the need for confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Ability to lead and manage other office staff
- Enjoy working with children
