Salary from £27,780 +14% Evening/Weekend shift allowance.
No previous Site Manager experience is necessary; all required training will be provided.
Brookfield Community School is a thriving senior school with respectful students. The campus is large with multiple blocks and relaxing areas in-between where the students are able to spend break times.
The successful applicant will join a dedicated Site Team led by the two Senior Site Managers to look after a busy community school. It is important for us to appoint the right candidate with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. The applicant will need to be physically fit as it is a large site with many manual tasks. The applicant will become part of a team working a four-week shift rotation, which includes weekend work to accommodate community users on site. The role will encompass general maintenance, delivery of supplies, room set ups, ground and gardening works, fire safety, legionella, first aid, site security and COSHH reporting (appropriate training provided).
Brookfield is a community school open 51 weeks of the year, 7 days a week. The candidate will receive 24 days holiday per year (rising to 27) and will have access to the Hampshire County Council Pension.
