We seek to appoint a creative and inspiring English teacher to teach across the full age and ability range. This post presents an exciting opportunity to join a successful department committed to raising aspirations and bringing out the best in all students.
A full range of quality professional development opportunities are provided, complemented by a highly regarded induction programme for new staff. We have teachers who are experienced in mentoring colleagues new to the profession, so we are well equipped to support recently qualified teachers.
The Learning Leader for English is passionate about delivering great outcomes for all students, whilst maintaining a positive work-life balance for staff. We have a marking policy designed to maximise student progress and reduce teacher workload. The English department are very welcoming, friendly, and sociable; we enjoy regular social events and a department cake rota every Friday.
