An opportunity has arisen for a highly effective and inspirational Teacher of PE to join our team. John Hanson Community School is a successful, over-subscribed 11-16 community school, rated Good by OFSTED. We have a strong tradition of offering our students opportunities beyond the classroom/sports fields with fixtures and sports trips to enhance our students’ experiences. The examination results in PE have consistently been well above the national average.

The successful candidate will:
- Specialise in either Football or Rugby
- Have strong subject knowledge of BTEC Tech award in Sport
- Need to commit to extra-curricular activities
- Be keen to take part in sports tours
- Enjoy working as part of a vibrant team, have good organisation and communication skills
- Embrace school life and nurture a sense of belonging to the school community
- Ability to teach second subject desirable
