We are a school for pupils aged 4-11 years old. All of our children have learning difficulties and most have autism. We are currently developing our provision for children with more severe and complex learning difficulties, in response to the level of need in our local area.
This role is the ideal first step into SEN class teaching for those with excellent classroom practice and a desire to broaden their impact beyond mainstream and into SEN teaching, ensuring that the provision for children reflects best practice.
We have a strong and capable team of experienced SEN staff who are able to support and provide training for those new to SEN or new to teaching but we are also interested in hearing from candidates who themselves have a strong background in SEN teaching and who believe that they could offer this support to others and are interested in career development.
Our children currently benefit from the support of a staff team who have a range of backgrounds and prior work experiences and we think this is a strength within our team.
