TEACHING ASSISTANT
Fixed Term (following a named child)
Mon to Fri 8.45am-11.15am (12.5 hours per week)
Grade: B or C (dependent on experience) - Term time only
Start date: October 2026

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our team at Woolton Hill Junior School and be the named keyperson for a specific child in our lower school (years 3/4). The role involves working alongside the class teacher, supporting a specific individual. Other duties may include play and lunchtime supervision. Successful applicants should be flexible, good communicators who enjoy working as part of a team, as well as being able to use their own initiative. In return we can offer:

Previous experience of working in a school and with pupils with social and emotional needs is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
