We are ideally seeking to employ an excellent, experienced practitioner for 15 hours per week on a fixed term basis from September 2025, initially until 31st August 2026.
The successful candidate will be committed to supporting children's learning and have a good understanding of how to support the development of children as confident, independent individuals.
The successful candidate will:
- be able to nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils in order to secure high standards for all pupils to be 'lifelong learners, with open minds'
- have previous experience of working with children with complex SEND and/or social communication difficulties
- have good maths and English skills (GCSE grade C or above or equivalent)
- have a working knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to break down learning into small steps
- be able to provide modelling and scaffolding to support the child's engagement
- be able to implement clear boundaries and routines using positive behaviour management strategies
- have a calm and positive disposition
- work as part of a year team under the guidance of the year leader and class teacher to raise attainment and deliver tailored interventions
- be able to work independently and have good organisational skills
