Year 4 Class Teacher

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.5FTE Y4 class teacher at Stoke Park Junior School, for the  summer term. Working within a well-resourced and supportive environment and with access to excellent CPD opportunities, the successful candidate will be able to make a real and sustained impact on the learning outcomes for children. 

Stoke Park is an inclusive, 3 form entry junior school set in the heart of Bishopstoke. With our school values at the heart of everything we do, we challenge and motivate all pupils to become successful and confident members of their school community and inspire them to enjoy, achieve and make a positive contribution to the school and the wider community.  

Applicants should be exemplary practitioners, who are committed to providing a wealth of exciting and creative learning experiences for all pupils. They should be able to work on his/her own initiative, whilst enjoying the benefits of working within a supportive and collaborative team. 

With the possibility of a permanent position going forward, applications are particularly welcomed from teachers with experience of teaching of phonics or leading science. However the successful candidate will be able to illustrate their impact on their school’s curriculum, regardless of the subject.

Hours:  Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.

Salary:  Main Scale 1 - 6 depending on experience.
