Grateley is a small village primary school on the outskirts of Andover. The community is at the heart of the school and we have a strong, supportive ethos. We are seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant to join our team. We believe that all our children and staff are lifelong learners and we want them to realise their full potential.
This is a part time, fixed term, term time (plus two days INSET) post of 12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 3.30pm - 6pm.
We are looking to appoint a new After School Club Assistant to join our hardworking, committed and friendly school team. The successful candidate should be a practical, reliable and trustworthy person who will have responsibility working as part of the After School Club Team delivering the smooth operation of activities and wraparound childcare for children aged 4-11.
You will:
- be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- have a commitment to professional development and a willingness to undertake relevant training.
- be able to communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, visitors and staff.
- be well-motivated with an ability to work on your own initiative.
- committed to putting children’s education at the centre of everything that happens in the school.
- flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
- recognise the value of working within a team and have the desire to embrace life in school on a wider level.
