Clerk of the Governors
5 hours per week, plus additional as required, hours to be discussed with your line manager. Term-time only (39 weeks). Grade C FTE £24,405, Actual Salary £2,827.92.
RAISE Education Trust comprises of Wildern Secondary School, Deer Park Secondary School and Boorley Park Primary School. Our staff form a collective team that make a difference to the lives of our students.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our Trust as a Clerk to the Governors to work and travel between all three schools within the Trust, therefore transport will be required. Each Local Governing Body (LGB) meets 6 times per year, one meeting each half term. LGB meetings take place on a Monday during the early evening, lasting for about an hour and half. The Clerk will be required to draft agendas, provide template reports and produce accurate minutes. Policy review management and other adhoc administration/governance duties will also be required.
You will be responsible to the Trust’s Governance Professional. Meetings are usually held on school premises, although on occasions may be held virtually.
