Job Introduction
We are looking for an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to play a key role in shaping the future of Bransgore Church of England Primary School.
Bransgore is a warm, nurturing and community centred school where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally. Our vision, “From loving roots we are growing in the forest,” reflects our belief that when children feel safe, valued and supported, they develop the confidence, resilience and curiosity needed to grow and thrive.
At Bransgore, strong relationships sit at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of our loving school ethos and our commitment to creating an environment where every child feels known, loved and inspired to achieve their very best. Our staff work together to ensure that learning is meaningful, inclusive and rooted in values that prepare children for life beyond primary school.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join the school as part of our leadership team and to work closely with the Headteacher to continue nurturing our school community.
We are looking for a leader who understands the importance of both high expectations and strong pastoral care, someone who can inspire staff and pupils, while keeping the wellbeing and development of every child at the centre of their work.
If you have the vision, compassion and leadership to help our children grow from strong, loving roots into confident and capable learners, we would love to hear from you.
As the new Deputy Headteacher you will:
- Be a visible and approachable leader who nurtures the strong sense of community at Bransgore Primary School, creating a culture where children and staff feel valued, supported and inspired to succeed.
- Be passionate about delivering the very best education for every child, using evidence informed practice and a clear vision to build on our strengths and continue improving outcomes.
- Inspire and motivate pupils, staff and parents, fostering a collaborative and supportive school community, and leading by example to influence strategic decision-making and the development of school policies.
- Maintain a relentless focus on raising standards and improving outcomes for all pupils, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to inclusion, equity and excellence in all aspects of school life.
