Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design and Technology teacher to join our Creative Technology department at Weston Secondary School, part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET). The Creative Technologies department consists of a range of subject areas that includes resistant materials, engineering, carpentry, textiles, food, graphics and art. Due to the Design and Technology department expansion, Weston Secondary School is seeking to recruit an additional Design and Technology teacher to this popular subject area. 

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 36 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 33 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Design and Technology teacher with a range of skills across the breadth of Design and Technology, who possess drive, energy and a commitment to achieving the very best for our students. Weston Secondary School has begun an exciting programme of investment into the Design and Technology department, we encourage applications from Design and Technology teachers who are seeking to join the school at this exciting stage of expansion and investment.
