Job Introduction
We are looking to recruit an organised and proactive member of admin staff to co-ordinate the provision outlined in Section F of our students’ EHCPs where this is outside of what is ordinarily available in the classroom at Samuel Cody School. You will contribute to the administration of our students’ Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans in the following ways:
- Keeping records of provision outlined in EHCPs
- Liaising with external agencies to arrange this provision
- Managing visitors to the school to ensure that our high standards of safeguarding are met
- Receiving and distributing questionnaires from external agencies
- Liaising with the SENCO to update provision maps and ensure that funding received matches the cost of provision
- Arrange any new assessment of need
- Liaise with parents when they have questions about provision
- Support staff in the annual review process by collating evidence of progress and making this available on Earwig
- Support with the administrative tasks associated with annual reviews
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- The ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment with competing pressures.
- Experience of working collaboratively with schools and other education settings, professionals from education, health and social care, and children and families.
- Effective communication both orally and in writing with a wide range of professionals and parents.
- A desire to work with young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
