An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in January 2025. We seek an outstanding and nurturing teacher for our Willow Class (EYFS/KS1.)
Hyde is a small village primary school with a current capacity of 70 pupils in the heart of the new forest. The school is part of the successful Forest Edge Learning Federation comprising Breamore CE Primary School, Hyde CE Primary School, and Hale Community School. The three individual schools work closely together, sharing leadership, curriculum, and teaching skills. Hyde Primary School is successful (‘Good’ OFSTED, November 2023) and popular. It is part of the village community, with fantastic support from parents, governors, and the nearby church. We are fully inclusive and nurturing in our approach and strive for excellence for all through the highest standards of teaching and learning. We are dedicated to preparing our pupils for life-long learning through our academic curriculum and personal development offer, judged as outstanding by OFSTED in November 2023.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has a talent for making learning exciting and vibrant and can inspire and motivate pupils
Has high expectations about what children can achieve and has the subject knowledge to enable children to rise to these?
Has the skills to meet the needs of individuals, raise standards and facilitate learning in both the EYFS and National Curriculum
Has experience in teaching a systematic synthetic phonics scheme.
Has the capacity to lead other staff in one or more aspects of our curriculum provision?
We will share our school vision and demonstrate commitment to continued school improvement.
Will work closely with colleagues, governors, parents, and the wider school community.
Will show commitment to our Christian values.
