We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Learning Support Assistant with a positive outlook, eager to contribute across our school and looking to work alongside a supportive and friendly team, with happy, well behaved children.
Previous experience of supporting children within mainstream school is desirable.
We are seeking applicants who:
- Have experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Are committed to providing high quality provision
- Have excellent team work skills
- Are able to work under the direction of the class teacher but at the same time show initiative
- Have the patience and the imagination to help and inspire learning
- Have good communication skills and be able to clarify and explain instructions clearly
- Can be professionally discrete and able to respect confidentiality
- Have well developed interpersonal skills and a sense of humour enabling effective relationships with a variety of different people
- Are able to take on new ideas and learn
- Paediatric trained or have a desire to explore CPD opportunities
