We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support SEND needs, 1:1 or small groups. This position would either suit somebody with experience or be an opportunity for somebody new to the profession looking to make a difference to young lives. This is a fixed term contract and an opportunity for the right person to join our fantastic team. We wish to appoint someone who:
- Is first and foremost passionate about working with children
- has at least a Level 2 qualification in Early Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning, or is willing to work towards a qualification
- Is both compassionate and consistent with behaviour management
- Is dedicated to the opportunities presented by outdoor learning and is a flexible practitioner who can be led by the children’s interests and needs
- Has a pro-active approach in making every day a good day for all
- Is able to both follow guidance from the class teacher and work on own initiative
- Has Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above
