Salary Details: B1 to B3 (£15,516 - £15,991) (FTE: £22,737 - £23,058)

Hours of Work: Part time (30 hrs per week – 8.30am – 3pm), Term time only

Job/Person Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join Endeavour Primary school as soon as mutually convenient. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and proactive person to join our fantastic team.

The successful candidate would support pupils with Special Education Needs to access learning. The candidate will be passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them to develop independence. They will be calm, resilient and flexible in their approach to working within a team to support pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 at either King or Kirk Campus.

This post will be working around an identified pupil/s in school to support their learning and emotional development as well-being as well as delivering some groups.

Training to support this role will be given.

The role will include:

  • To meet and greet the pupil and to support the transition into school.
  • To build a strong and trusting relationship with the pupil so they feel happy and safe.
  • To support the pupil in all aspects of their learning.
  • To support the pupil to build relationships with other pupils and staff.
  • To support the pupil to build their emotional well-being and resilience.
  • Small group work both in and out of class.
  • Lunchtime & break time duties
