Job Introduction
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who is passionate about raising standards and helping every child achieve their very best. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, flexible, and determined to make a real difference to children’s outcomes.
The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced LSA who:
- Has worked with children with a range of additional needs
- Can adapt tasks for a child who is likely to find it a challenge to engage in activities alongside their peers
- Be able to work independently under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
- Has the ability to work as part of a team
- Listens to, and acts upon, the advice provided by outside agencies
- Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development
- Can support children's social and emotional development and show empathy and understanding
- Has experience delivering interventions
- Has good English, maths and IT skills.
