We are seeking warm, motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Learning Support Assistants in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 from September 2026. The successful candidates will provide high‑quality support to children with additional needs, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally. Strong English and Maths skills are essential, and previous experience in a school setting is desirable.  


We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience of working with children with medical needs.


We are ideally looking for staff who can work 28.33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.25pm, term time only. However, reduced hours will also be considered.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Is warm, friendly and genuinely puts children at the centre of everything they do.
  • Has experience of working with children in a professional capacity.
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of how to support children in their learning.
  • Can use initiative, think creatively and adapt learning to meet individual needs.
  • Holds high expectations for themselves and others.
  • Is well‑organised, reliable and able to manage time effectively.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
  • Holds a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C), including English and Maths.
