Job Introduction

Peel Common Primary School is seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis from September 2025. Peel Common Primary was recently formed by the amalgamation of the Infants and Junior school and we have opened with a purpose built Reception and Nursery unit. Both the inside and outside provision is ready to be further developed to meet the needs of our children.

Our children deserve the best, and we are committed to getting it right from the very start. This post is suitable for experienced teachers with expertise in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), this is not a suitable role for ECTs.

 We are looking for a talented, inspirational teacher who:

  • Has a strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum

  • Works creatively and with resilience so that each pupil can achieve their full personal potential
  • Is positive and caring when working on children’s welfare and pastoral needs
  • Is self-motivated in putting pupil’s learning and development at the heart of everything they do
  • Leads by example and communicates well with children, colleagues and parents
  • Collaborates effectively as a team member, knowing that they will be valued for their contribution to the work of the school
  • Is happy to take part in the wider life of the school
