Site Assistant

Job Introduction

We are seeking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School during a period of rapid improvement and change. Our vision ‘We Care, We Aim High, We Learn and Achieve Together’ encapsulates the work we do every day. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1170 students and are looking to expand our staffing further.

The Site Team have a vitally important role to play within the school from Health and Safety to general routine maintenance. You will need to be flexible and able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing workload. The successful applicants must be able to work under both instruction and autonomously, using their own initiative when undertaking tasks without supervision. Applicants will need to be reliable, fit, active and demonstrate a positive attitude to working in an educational environment.  We are constantly striving to improve the site facilities and take great pride in the appearance of the school. Some experience with routine maintenance and Health and safety would be advantageous but full training will be given. The successful candidates will be required to undertake training where required to gain more advanced skills.
