ROLE:    Site Manager

SCHOOL: Weston Park Primary School/Weston Shore Infant School 

HOURS:         Full time 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, 52 weeks per year (times to be agreed)

SALARY: Grade 7: £29,777 – £33,944

CLOSING DATE:      4th November 2024 at noon                                  

INTERVIEW DATE:  8th November 2024 

START DATE: As soon as possible thereafter

 JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a site manager to join Weston Park Primary School, a large vibrant school in Southampton and part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).

This is a key role in our school, as you will have responsibility for the security, safety, general maintenance and to ensure the cleanliness of our school buildings and extensive grounds. 

You will also be looking to help maintain an enticing and vibrant school environment, to support our ongoing vision of enjoyment in learning.

We are seeking a professional individual who is able to:

  • Be a positive and professional face of our school community 
  • Work on their own initiative and prioritise their work.
  • Be responsible for the management of the whole school site, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and Health and Safety are maintained.
  • Be responsible for site security and the daily unlocking/locking of the site.
  • Manage a small group of cleaners to deliver high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
  • Arrange and liaise with contractors on site.
  • Work in a flexible manner to meet the needs of the school.
