We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.
The Technology Department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff. It is well-resourced with a number of specialists workshops, a kitchen and designated technicians. Our aim is to deliver an inspiring and challenging curriculum which includes practical and theory skills. At GCSE, option numbers are high and students currently study the Eduqas specification for Food Preparation and Nutrition, AQA for Design Technology and AQA for Engineering.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Food Preparation & Nutrition Teacher with the ability to teach Design Technology at KS3. The Design Technology Team work closely together, share best practice and support each other to drive the department to continually improve the outcomes for our students. A colleague who is motivated and innovative would be the perfect addition to ‘Team Hamble’. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.
