Bishop Challoner is a very popular, oversubscribed and successful school serving the community of Basingstoke and the surrounding area. We seek to serve families who wish to educate their children in a faith school.

We have the very rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Religious Studies to join our outstanding school.  This is a permanent full-time role. 

The Religious Studies Department prides itself on delivering a high quality and diverse curriculum. They are an innovative, enthusiastic and collaborative team with a vision which goes beyond great GCSE results.  

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and evidence:

  • A dedication for sharing Religious Studies, which ignites a students’ engagement and enjoyment of the subject so they can achieve their very best. 
  • A desire to work collaboratively with the wider school community. 
  • Excellent subject knowledge and outstanding teaching across KS3 & KS4. 
  • A shared vision to nurture curious, reflective young adults who leave school equipped to embrace the world and reach their full potential.
