Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a friendly, flexible and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work initially with KS2 to support a child with additional needs as well as to work alongside the teacher to provide class support. This includes a 30-minute lunch duty per day. The successful candidate will have:
- a sense of humour and ability to be flexible
- high expectations of children's progress and attainment
- good behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate children
- be well organised and resourceful
- able to work as a member of a team
- a calm and positive approach
- an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- have good written communication and numeracy skills (GCSE grade C in English and maths or equivalent qualifications)
