Teaching Assistant - Term Time
Position Start Date: Once all relevant employment checks completed
Closing Date: Friday 20th March 2026
Contract/Hours: Fixed term until 31st March 2027 with the potential to be extended
Hours of Work: 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am-3.30pm, 40 weeks per year (Actual Salary £20,584.32 per annum before Tax and NI)
Salary Details: Grade D (£27,780 - £30,564 FTE)

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled teaching assistant to work across the federation from Early Years to Year 6. We are looking to appoint a friendly, calm, enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our dedicated team, working in different class settings each day of the week.

We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in providing learning and behavioural support to children across all ages
• Highly inclusive and able to work within the ethos of ‘every day is a fresh start’ and to not bear a grudge
• Highly flexible and adaptable
• Able to use their initiative
• Capable of dealing with challenging situations
• Able to work effectively with staff across the federation
• Able to build a good rapport with children across the Primary phase from Nursery – Year 6
