Job Introduction
Shakespeare Junior School is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work within a year group. The support would be for 28.3 hours per week (8.50am – 12noon and 1.00pm – 3.30pm) Monday – Friday, term time only.
Shakespeare Junior school is located in the heart of Boyatt Wood, Eastleigh. We have a strong ethos of promoting positive learning behaviours.
We want a candidate with the following attributes:
- Have GCSE Grade C or higher/equivalent in English and Mathematics
- A person who will do everything to help pupils progress in their learning
- The ability to work from plans, but will develop confidence to adapt these to meet the needs of the child concerned as learning progresses
- Be organised and adaptable
- Be able to develop positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
