Job Introduction
Catherington C of E Infant School is a small friendly school, with a very dedicated, happy and supportive staff team.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicatd Teaching Assitant who is pasionate about making a difference to children's progress and attainment to join our school.
Responsibilities will include providing support for groups of children and individuals, preparing resources and assisting the teacher in the day to day management of the classroom.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Energy and enthusiasm and is able to show initiative within their role
- The ability to provide excellent in-lass support and put he needs of the child first
- An understanding about the importance of safeguarding, keeping children safe and confidentiatlity
- Excellent communication skills to develop relationships as part of a team
- An understanding of child development and experience of supporting children in Key Stage One
- The positivity to rise to the challenges of a small school
- A willingness to embrace our Christian values of Love, Courage and Respect
