The Green Oaks Federation consisting of Oakwood Infant School and Greenfields Junior School is set within the village of Hartley Wintney and is part of a diverse and supportive community.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Key Stage 2 teacher who has the enthusiasm and ambition to excel. The successful candidate will:

  • Be a dedicated and ambitious teacher who understands how to motivate, engage and inspire learning
  • Understand how to construct a curriculum that provides purpose and agency
  • Be part of a teaching team who believe that learners are entitled to an education that equips them with the knowledge, skills and values they need to embrace the opportunities and challenges as a global citizen 
  • Have an excellent understanding of assessment for learning and actively use this to inform planning and teaching in real-time
  • Be able to teach flexibly and responsively within a lesson to address misconceptions and deepen learning
  • Understand how to make feedback visible for pupils and use this to close gaps, challenge thinking and engage learners
  • Be relationship driven, and understand how to create a class community that reflects the values and ethos of our school
  • Be committed to their own and others professional development through research, mentoring and coaching
