We are looking to recruit someone with a good eye for creative design, strong written communication skills and knowledge of digital communication tools to join our team at Cove School.
As Digital Communications Administrator, you will be one of the first points of contact for visitors while also playing a key role in crafting our school’s digital voice.
In addition to the above role, you will be based in reception to provide support with greeting visitors, answering incoming calls and handling general enquires. You will also provide administration support to the Head of Year 7 regarding transition from primary to secondary school. As such, the ability to multi-task is a key requirement.
You will work closely with a range of staff from senior leaders, curriculum and pastoral leaders, as well as other administrative staff to manage and update our school website, to ensure consistency of branding across all publications, and develop engaging and motivational content when communicating with our parents through email, newsletters and other media.
We are looking to appoint a colleague who will:
- Be knowledgeable around digital communication systems and web design using an online editor (Content management systems).
- Be confident in the use of new design technologies such as Adobe and Canva along with social media - CPD will be provided.
- Be responsible and accountable for ensuring the school website is up to date, Ofsted compliant, and accessible.
- Be someone with a good eye for design, attention to detail and produce accurate communications.
- Be able to work across a range of different teams and staff.
- Be able to think creatively and produce content tailored to different audiences, internally and externally to the school. Items this would include are: school newsletter, prospectus, information brochures, posters and other touch points.
- Be highly organised and able to plan and manage their own workload.
