Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated staff member who can work in close partnership with the Headteacher and other office staff to lead key aspects of administration.
Although previous experience is desirable, the successful candidate does not need to have previous experience of working within a school office – we can provide on the job training and support. What is essential is that we get the right person – someone who is warm, welcoming, positive, a quick learner with an eye for detail, and fantastic organisational skills.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Good maths and English skills (GCSE Grade C or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in using a wide range of IT applications e.g., spreadsheets, databases
- A sense of humour and positive approach
- Patience, flexibility and is able to work with own initiative
- Ability to communicate well with other team members, parents and governors
- Ability to be reflective and committed to their own professional development
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Work with other office staff to support front of house and deliver general administration needs of the school: answering phones, hospitality, first aid, correspondence etc.
- Process payments linked to school dinners, lettings etc.
- Lead curriculum enrichment administration e.g., organising school clubs and trips.
- Maintain school social media and website.
